God is an ever-faithful God. He is and will always be our help in times of need. He will never leave us, nor forsake us. For His love will abounds His children and His mercy, endless. Although there are times when we don’t understand His plans and have questioned Him at some point, if you take His promise in Jeremiah 29:11 (“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”) by heart, you will always have the strength to carry on.
If you have suffered or is going through abuse, here are promises from God you can hold on to:
-Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
God is ready to carry your burdens. All you have to do is to surrender it to Him.
-He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalms 147:3
God can piece your broken heart. After all, He created it.
-The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Psalm 9:9
Hold on to Him and He will never let you go.
-The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Psalms 34:18
God is always a heartbeat away. Especially to those who humble themselves.
-But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5
The battle is won. All you need is to accept His healing, for He had bled so you can have life and live it in full.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4
His is a crying shoulder and his hands are ready to wipe away your tears.
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. I John 5:14-15
He is listening and He is ready to turn your life around.
